Subject: Patch issues for Hunters?
   Hey folks.

I just want to make sure I have the following correct, and give you a chance to add anything before I send issues off to be addressed. Keep in mind that this thread is for constructive explanations of any unintentional changes for the Hunter class that cropped up in this patch. (A good way to check is to review the patch notes on the website before posting.)

So far, the two major issues I've seen are as follows:

1) The new "passive" mode for pets while mounted works as intended and goes away if you dismount normally, but if you're forced off your mount, your pet remains in passive mode.

2) Traps are now being resisted, whereas before they were not.

Is there anything else?

EDIT: This thread is for the listing of unintentional changes (i.e. bugs) only. Please don't ask for updates on what's coming or name things that were intentionally changed. Thank you.

EDIT to the edit: I'm flat out deleting posts that don't apply. Please keep to the topic.

Q u o t e:
Traps have always been resistable. I've had them resisted before the patch. This is not a change.

Thanks for the information on that. I'll have QA take a look at the resistance rates, though, just in case. :)

Q u o t e:
Caydiem...please respond and tell us you didnt just run with what that mage said as gospel. At no time before this patch have my traps ever been resisted, immune yes, resisted no.

A trap cannot be placed in combat, a trap must be positioned and the target lured to it, and a trap can be the only difference between whipe and survival in some high end instance situations. Its a one time use thing with very limited application.

If it truly is Blizz's intent to have stealth nerfed and made them resistable...fine, make it usable in combat with a short timer. Anything else is a crippling blow.

If you read what I said, I'm having QA check it regardless. :P Please do not panic.

sorry cay but that is just false.

i've been playing since release and never had a trap resist.

you shouldn't take unverifiable information as true.

Pleeeeease read the entirety of what I wrote. I thanked him for his post and said I'm having QA look into it regardless.
