I'm not sure about other people here, but I personally feel that waiting 2 weeks for any information about your meeting with the developers in totally unacceptable. I understand the process you say you must go through, and I understand that you are busy with other things as well. While I would expect the report within two weeks of the meeting(aka today) I also understand that Blizzard is slow. Not knocking you or anything, just stating facts.
But honestly, the most information you have released is "meeting is done, writing the report". So now, I ask a simple question.
How did the meeting go?
I'll even type 3 possible answers, so you can spend as little time as possible on this.
1. Meeting went well, positive changes coming to the Hunter class soon.
2. Meeting was average. The class will remain the same.
3. Meeting went poorly. Hunters are in for difficulties.
Once again, I'm not trying to knock you in any way, shape, or form. I just want to make sure that I'm not spending time leveling a class that's doomed, or wasting money playing a game when I can't get what I want from it.
A response to this question would not leak any information, and would not take a lot of time. So please, just quickly answer this one, little thing.

None of your answers apply, because they cater to three extremes, and that's not how class balance works.
Changes are coming. I am not going to repeat the mistakes of others and claim that they are either good or bad before you get to see them ("awesome changes" is not in my vocabulary).
I'm doing what I can to push the writeup through so you can see it ASAP. I understand that you feel this is unacceptable, but both the development team and myself have several duties in addition to this, and sometimes those duties take priority over these writeups.

You will get your answers on what we discussed when I post the writeup.
There's a reason for me being vague -- if I give even the slightest hint, it may well be misconstrued, which then leads me into further explanations to stave off a panic... This, then, defeats the purpose of getting the developers to verify what I wrote up, since there's the possibility of me being wrong. Then it gives the appearance that I lied, which only further harms my credibility.
I hope you understand my position here.

Grunna, I have in the past given you information as soon as the developers gave it to me.
It turned out that said information was not entirely correct. My credibility was shot and I am called a liar by certain Hunters to this day.
I will not be exacerbating the problem. If the community wishes to react to news that may change in that manner, that is their choice, but I too have the choice of giving you information before it's verified or doing so after. Since doing so before has clearly not worked and damaged the reputation of myself and the company for which I work, I am not going to be repeating that mistake.
You are not going to convince me to post a sneak preview on this. I will keep you up to date on where it is in the process, but that is it as far as information pertaining to the writeup goes until such time as it is posted.[ post edited by Caydiem ]

Again, Grunna, that is a mistake that has been made in the past and has been grossly misinterpreted and taken very poorly. I am not going to give you a general "feel" on the information because what I believe may be substantially different from your own perpsective. Opinions will not help this.
I am going to leave it to you to make your own judgements on the information and what it means to your class when it is released.

If I had an ETA for you I would give one, but I do not, because it's extremely subjective. I'm doing what I can to get it through the process.

I'm not trying to be cruel, but recent events have just led me to believe that the devs are really lacking in their internal communication and shared 'vision' for classes =(

I will give you the information when it is ready to be released and not before.
I am not angry with the community -- far from it, I understand where you're coming from and why you're so frustrated about hearing nothing yet. I would remedy that for you right now if I could by posting the writeup.
Unfortunately, I can't do that.
So it's left to me to decide which is better: post a "sneak peek" that may end up getting people more flustered than they would be if they had the full information, or give no sneak peek and ask for patience. I am choosing the second route based on past experience with the first route.
Believe me, I do know you're frustrated and you want to see results. I do. But I have to consider all sides of the situation, and I do not feel it'd be prudent to give even a vague hint at this time.
