Subject: A humble request to Caydiem
Cay, if you're reading this, I want to make a request of you. It's nothing big, and I pray it's something you agree with.

Could you please, and I'm begging you here, kindly ask the devs to stop finalizing patchnotes without making *sure* that all the major changes, both positive and negative, are included? You don't have to give us numbers, I understand why you don't. All I ask, is that if a major part of a character is changed, that there be some sort of mention of it in the patchnotes.

Nerfs happen. They are an unavoidable part of design. I understand that. All I want is for the changes to be awknowledged, perhaps explained if there is time, in the notes. I know we can be short tempered, and seeing a reduction to something in the notes would make us angry, but could you perhaps consider that *not* finding them in the notes, and finding them ourselves, may make us even more angry?

Sorry I didn't get to this before -- I was busy juggling quite a few projects yesterday.

I take it this is in regards to the supposed pet DPS change?

The incomplete patch notes issue is one that we have been fighting against since the first patch was released. The situation is getting better, I will say that, but I know it has a long way to go and we, as the Community Team, are constantly pushing for better notes.

We'll continue prowling the halls with bats around patch time in the hopes that all changes are included.

   *sigh*

I'm not trying to be condescending. I believe that you folks are seeing that, but at the same time, I'm not going to use firm language until I get a confirmation internally as well. You folks have nailed me on firm language a few times -- I'm not making that mistake again. ;)
