I've heard that in the XP we will be able to buy items using tokens. This way you can play a bit at a time, and eventually save up enough tokens to get good gear. Or if you PvP heaps you can get the gear nice and quick.
This i think is great, but will the rankings still be about. Because it's kind of cool seeing people wondering around with the rank of "Warlord" or what have you. Even if the only thing you got from rankings was the name, that would be cool. Items from tokens, name from rank. Is that the case, or are rank names out of the window?

The current plan is to allow players to retain the titles obtained in the current honor system; however we are not currently planning to allow them to be obtained through use of the new honor system. Theyre going to become unique keepsakes, and something we think will be displayed with pride and nostalgia of a player's participation in the old system. We also have plans to allow for a kind of rank selection list, allowing the title for highest rank achieved through the old honor system, new titles from the arena combat system, and any other titles obtained through play to be changed and displayed at will. The rank selection list will allow you to choose from highest rank achieved, so your rank at the release of the expansion won't be a factor, no.
