Subject: Why so tight-lipped about BC?
You guys are doing a good amount of promotion for the BC (magazines, online articles, mailers, etc), but you aren't really letting slip any details whatsoever. What we know the expack will have is what all expacks for MMO's have- new dungeons, new races (but no new classes sadly), new items, new levels, new talents, blah blah blah.

All I've gotten so far from you is "you gotta buy it if you wanna keep playing this game to any effective level" but you haven't told me any neat things about it that makes me think 'wow, I NEED to buy this it sounds great".

What gives Blue? These allusions to "coming soon" grow blah after awhile. Spill some of the beans, at least.

We have stated many times before that we are on a schedule for information releases. We work very closely with the PR and marketing teams to put out solid and accurate information based on that schedule. By doing this we ensure that we can present the information in the best possible way.

There are also some parts of the expansion that we would prefer to have players experience and learn versus just read about as well. This helps us to properly gauge the need to change and adjust things that need it as well as gives players a better understanding of some information other than via theorycraft. While theorycraft can be fun, it often does not help in getting accurate feedback on those elements of the game.

There is also an element of discovery that we would like to preserve. As many people know, the joy of exploring new content is probably one of the most fun parts of new content. Some people would prefer the surprise and joy of discovery versus having spoilers posted that ruin that part of their fun.

This isn't about, "you must buy to know." While an element of that exists in the sense that yes, somethings need experienced, it does not exist in the way you are implying.

soon.

Crepe! Where is the rest of the 'soon' part you created? I would put that in my signature if I had the room, but alas I don't.
