I have seen no official firm date for BC release. Not even a reliable projection (4th qtr 2006, etc.). If I've missed it, please give me a pointer. If I did miss it, you can stop reading right here.
OK, you're still reading, you didn't see a date either. Without one, I know we're at least six months away or more. That puts us well into next year. The screenshots so far look cool, but there's a huge difference between that and a real release.
I know BC will arrive sooner or later. Too bad all the evidence points to LATER....MUCH MUCH LATER.

I suggest re-examining your evidence. It's apparently tainted. Are you sure you followed proper collection proceedures? Did the lab? Was all evidence properly bagged and tagged? Enquiring minds want to know!

LOL... Sorry, but I'm really not the betting sort. If I started taking people up on bets, I'd end up with an amazingly large list.
How about we settle on me saying I have faith in the team and believe when they say things look good, that they do.
If they don't make it, you can always see me in person at an event and tell me you told me so. ;)

Oh, I'm definetly more than a security blanket. I definitely say things and I definitely have more to my job than just 'being here'. There are other things I do that you don't see, or see and don't know that I had a hand in it. ;)
I am here also to maintain a presence of course so that people realize that we are here and reading and taking part in the community no matter how large that part may be or in some cases small if we're just having a bit of fun with people. For the visible part we provide information when we can, we help direct traffic (discussion) when we can, we carry information from the players to the rest of the team and we do what we can to try to help the community actually BE a community in many ways. While not everyone may agree with the methods or get along with us all, we each have our strengths we bring and each have our appeal to different players.
Just do me the favor of not assuming that my role is unimportant or does not take some degree of knowledge and capability. I certainly don't do that to any of you. If I have a bit of fun with you all, you can take that as feeling as if I can because I'm among those that may just get the humor of it. ;) Besides, I don't tend to imbibe in sarcastic jibes with people I don't like.
