   Seriously, just make one and sticky it.....my eyes are starting to crust up, crack and bleed fromthe amount of:

Just put an end to it, nobody is going to go read the info availible on the front page so just hand feed it to them like the children they are so we can all move on with our lives and stop answering the same crap over and over and OVER again.

   It's a good idea, but in practice FAQ threads actually tend to do very little in hindering the creation of new threads. Stickying a thread will not suddenly inform those that will post without first attempting to find the answer elsewhere, which is normally the case. There are the obvious exceptions, but in the end a sticky thread generally does not keep new threads from being created.

We also don't necessarily want to cut out all conversation on more basic topics, and those question threads can create some lengthy discussions that we may want to read through.
