Subject: A modest proposal for the PVP patch:
Put faction-specific raid-bosses in the capital cities, like Thrall in Orgrimmar or King Bronzebeard in Ironforge, with some type of reward for killing them. The home faction could then try to defend them.

It would be like a war. I think it could be fun.

Subject: Re: A modest proposal for the PVP patch:
This is something we were talking about yesterday with the Lead Designers. The bug is in their ear, but we are currently developing other incentives for PvP in the immediate future.

This will be something that we can formulate more design possibilities for when beta is released and we see how all of our current PvP plans play out.

While we are interested in incentivizing Faction leaders through rewards, we want it to be spontaneous and not a regular, consistent activity in major cities. Having Thrall being downed on the hour, every hour is rather obstructive and redundant.

At any rate, it'll be something kept in mind and we shall see if we can devise something to provide a happy medium between crippling city raiding and Thrall merely dropping a wedge of cheese and some copper.
The path of least resistance tempts all ramblers.
