Good Morning Creeper. You appear to already be ON a new realm since Venture Co. just released shortly ago.
I will repeat this one again today so that we hopefully don't get ten of the same thread posted.
We realize many people are asking for new realms. The massive amounts of posts asking for them is enough evidence of that. However, should we release realms, we will post and let people know shortly before they are in fact released.
I'm going to hazard a guess that there will be none today and that a lot of focus is currently on hardware upgrades as noted in Eyonix's sticky post at the top. This does not preclude the addition of new realms, however I am merely putting it out there in case it's a bit of time before we see a new realm release. Please don't be dissapointed if it is a bit longer until you see such an announcement.
Please do me the favor of pointing people to this thread if you see them asking about new realms today. ;) I would hate to see other conversations buried in a mountain of the same posted question if we can help it. Thanks all!

See? This is why these threads end up locked. People get upset. They argue over whether new realms are necessary or not, and then eventually someone starts cussing and the personal attacks come out.

You know we have spare hardware for a fact? Have you been in the inventory room? Here we were wondering where those Night Elven footprints came from. ;) I don't even know what hardware (spare or otherwise) we have because I don't work in that department.
We have continued adding new realms as we have felt necessary. However, your assertion that we are not doing something for the good of the players because there MAY (please note MAY) be some delay in adding any new realms completely ignores the fact that we are doing hardware upgrades that will not only help with older realm issues that MANY players are experiencing, but it will also allow us the means to add new realms to far better hardware.
Which would you rather have? A new realm now that might get squeezed onto older hardware? Or a new realm later that is on brand new shiny more powerful hardware?
I think in this case I'm going to trust our server technicians to do what they do best.

Sorry Hiphop, I couldn't possibly say if it would be in a couple days or more like a week or two. There's a lot being worked on right now and it's really up to other departments to decide if and when. I have to rely on learning about it from them when they plan to do it.
