Subject: Wouldn't want anything new... Paladins & Sham
Heaven forbid we get something new, like Monks.. nah just throw new skin on the night elfs, and reverse the one thing that made playing horde and alliance fun! DIFFERENT CLASSES. God we wouldn't want to have options would we, might focus the fan base..

The decision to allow Horde access to the Paladin and the Alliance access to the Shaman wasn't one made as an alternative to implementing a new playable class for the game. Right now, we're dedicated to improving upon the existing classes. It's important that everyone understands that we don't ever want to introduce a new class to the game that's very similar to any class that already exists, nor do we wish to add a new class just for the sake of giving players a new character to play. It must feel right, make sense and should be able to compliment everything that already exists in the game.

In short, Burning Crusade will provide plenty of new content -- we don't feel now is the right time to begin adding new classes to the mix.
