Subject: 1.12 seems a little....quick?
1.11 was just released, like 3 1/2 weeks ago, and PTR was like, about to go live the other day. O_o

I'm all for new content, but the turn-around time seems really really fast, is there some reason Blizzard is trying to get 1.12 out of the door so fast?

The primary component for this patch is the cross-realm battlegrounds, which have been under development for some time.

Most of this patch has really been in development alongside previous patches.

That and the testing phase of this is important, so we would like to get the PTRs up soon and spend that time tuning the patch.

You are assuming that development of the next patch only begins when the previous one goes live. This is not the case. Parts of different patches are developed alongside each other.
