If the article is true, the fixes are horrible.
I don't think anyone is excited for these changes to be made. Still have civilians, no real reason for random PvP and the buffs will reward raiders... Collecting dirt = good PvP?
How can you miss the target by so much?
P.S. I hate rogues and I still think the rogue nerf near the towers is lame.[ post edited by Xtragrind ]

I think the most important thing to remember when you or anyone else takes a look at the outdoor PvP additions is that there is still a testing phase to be done. Players will need to do what they can to give constructive feedback to the team so that any changes that can be done and are felt to be good for the system they are putting in place can be. Any feedback right now before anyone has even touched it is a bit premature.
I realize that people like to work off of first impressions on whether or not they think they will like something or would want to try something however, it's important to keep perspective in this case. Test the system first, then give feedback. It will be far more effective to creating any sort of change that players may see as being beneficial.

Q u o t e: Nethaera, please respond. The problem with testing is, when players DO respond to an issue, it is never fixed. Take lightwell into consideration. Every priest (including myself) posted about how TERRIBLE this fix was. The post was 80 pages long, and guess what, it was never fixed, and was barely addressed with a longer duration.
Bottom line is, we test your patches, and you totally ignore player feedback. Once it's on the test realm, it's in place for good until months down the line. This is why you get outbursts.
Verio,
Believe it or not, feedback is taken into consideration. Sometimes that feedback doesn't mesh with what the developers have envisioned. Sometimes it might be an interesting idea but it won't work on a mechanics level. Sometimes the answer is just 'no' and sometimes the answer is 'maybe, but not right now.' There is a very large picture to take into account and the developers do their best do do that. There have been many things that have been implemented and changed just on player feedback as well.
MMOs take time to develop and grow. They are an evolving entity that is never truly finished. That is often their charm and curse both. One person's idea of great can be another's idea of terrible. Take into account all the subscribers that play this ONE game and then try to factor in the design ands, ifs and buts and it gets much more complicated than making what others may think is a simple change.
Please don't let the fact that an idea wasn't implemented mean that your feedback isn't wanted or needed.

Just an FYI for those that are concerned with DKs, the developer team plans to re-evaluate the system for possible changes in the expansion. Please don't take this as a guarantee of change but it is important to note that there is discussion being held in regard to DKs and their current effects.
