Subject: Why are tin bars gold colored?
   I mined tin for the first time in many months and once smelted to bars, I once again wondered why Tin Bars are gold colored.

   If you look at raw tin ore it does have a slight green/gold tinge to it, so it isn't completely uncharacteristic. More importantly, this is a game, and the choice was probably simply made for ease of recognition.
