I know a lot of people get pissed when they watch videos and see the person mashing the buttons with there mouse.
What I do is use hotkeys for my 4 main attacks (stealthed and unstealthed, so like 8 total), then I click for moves I rarely use.
Is that okay?

You should play however you feel the most comfortable. I use both mouse and keyboard because it's what I have gotten used to from playing FPS'. I know some people use a Nostromo. Some use a ZBoard as well. I hear some crazy people even still use rollerballs. (I think that's a myth though.)
