The way in which players were losing rep was causing a bit of a problem for many players and the GM staff. As the horses were not deemed necessary, they were removed to prevent further reputation griefing.

The particular change you are suggesting could not be hotfixed. So, it was a matter of preventing further faction loss now, or wait all weekend for a fix that basically did the same thing but was 'prettier'. Sometimes, we have to make decisions that are less than optimal, but still serve the intended goal. And there ya have it.

Did you read my response or are you just arguing for the sake of it?
I'm sorry, but you are not really in the position to say what can and can't be done easily, when it comes to what values can be changed on the fly in our databases. Ok?
