I like things to be bright and cheerful on here. For this reason, i usually run my Night Elves over to Ironforge at level 10.
Since the last patch i find it raining way too much. I come on at 9pm pacific and it is always raining on Alliance. This is on the Oceanic servers. Don't know about the others.
Is it time related?

The Scourge have brought with them a shadow of sorrow and pain. In each zone they invade, dreary weather can be seen (I like to call it 'death mist'). Drive them back the the death mist shall be withdrawn!

I agree. The drastic climate changes in Azeroth are a mystery which scientists may never fully understand. I think the best thing to do is just relax and marvel at the phenomenon.
