I assume that the bolded phrase means that we will only ever play against other realms, never on the same side? Am I reading that correctly? Or will it be possible to play along side players of the same faction from other realms? If the later is true, cross-realm trading would destroy the in-game economy (as if it's not already dead). I suppose trading could be dissabled, but that would suck.
Also, if we do only get to team up with players from the same realm/faction (seems the case), will we have some sort of flag to tell us from which realm the opposing team hails? It would be very cool to have some sort of realm-faction wide ranking system.. i.e. show a scoreboard of each realms Horde/Alliance wins vs. other realms on the faction page so inspire competition between realms.

This means you will be able to queue up in battlegrounds and be able to compete with opposite factions of other servers vs. only competing against those of your own server.

Ahh, you mean if you are solo and join the BG will you be joined up with people of the same faction just from other realms? I'm unsure on that one. It's a good question though and I'll try to clarify it for you when I can.

I have your clarification for you.
You will be grouped with other people with other servers as well as fighting against them.
People will not be able to trade with others from different servers however.

People will not be able to trade with others from different servers however.
*Quick edit- On the name issue. Players from different realms will have their realm tagged to their name so while one person may be Hulk-Archimonde the other person will be Hulk-Arthas.
