Ok, I'll bite.
Had a short road trip with the gf down to San Clemente where I had a fine steak and the hotel room had a hot tub, as requested.
Most of the time I was at home, playing various games and watching World Cup. Not very exciting, but exactly what I wanted. I stared at walls a lot and meditated on the human condition, too.
Sandwiches also played a part.

Well, as I already knew that the root of all suffering is desire, I realized my attempts to change attitudes of others on a grand scale is somewhat naive. There is a natural course that the ideas, opinions and beliefs of a large group of people are going to take. Commonly referred to as 'Conventional Wisdom', it is a challenging thing to manipulate with any real accuracy or skill. Some might say attempting this is pointless.
While I still retain many beliefs that I can improve things, directness is not always the best course. Mindful detachment is in effect.
I also like sourdough bread. A lot.
