The IF Casino? (I'm sure the horde had one too)
I've played since BETA, and I remember during the first few months the high lvls (very few 60's around) would gather on the AH bridge in IF and /yell things like "Alliance Casino! Come place your bets. Minimum 1g, Maximum 40g, /roll the dice and if you beat me, double your gold!"
Now I was still only in my 20-30's when this went on (I was a slow lvler...everyone was...the game was new to us!) and as I grinded each level I always looked forward to going to the casino. When I hit 40 I had about 30g and I gambled about 15g...I won IIRC and it really helped to pay for my mount. Back then there were no epic-set players (everyone was shocked when the video of the koreans beating Onyxia came out, lol, that is old school) and 100g was a lot to any player, so there were no big bets ruining the casinos.
Then all of a sudden an announcement was made in-game, I believe, that outlawed Casino's. Why was this Blue's? Were any of you palying back then, and remember the fun they were?
While I'm not arguing, I'd love to know why they were taken away in the first place (I mean, you can trade goods over /2, why not be able to gamble coin?) and if there would ever be a possibility of them returning?
TY! Anyone else remember the fun casino's were, or any other funny things from the very early days?

This would be an excellent question to post in our Customer Service forum. The forum is watched over by our GM department who would be able to answer this particular question better than anyone. Plus they all just got new fancy avatars.
