Subject: Select Realm Issues

We have escalated this issue with one of our vendors. Our engineers are approximately 60 minutes away from the site; once they arrive we hope to provide further information and an updated ETA shortly thereafter.

11:22AM PDT
The realms listed below have been brought down to address a database hardware failure. We are working with on-site technicians to try and resolve the issue, and we have sent our own engineers to the site to try and expedite the process. We currently expect the affected realms to be down for at least 6 hours. We will provide you with an update to the situation in approximately 90 minutes.

The repairs have been completed and hardware tests are currently in-process. We appear to still be on track for a 2:00 AM PDT resolution for this issue. Any further updates provided for this issue will be found through the Breaking News window displayed when first launching the game.

8:45PM PDT
Were currently waiting for the final hardware repair procedures to be completed on the affected realms. Once this procedure completes our engineers will have a much better idea of when these realms will be back in working order. We will provide another update in approximately one hour.

7:35PM PDT
We have recently spoken with our hardware vendor and they have begun repairing the affected hardware. The repair process is on schedule and we will begin testing after the repairs have completed. The results of our tests will help us determine a more solid estimate for the resolution of this issue. We will provide an update in one hour.

6:00PM PDT
We are currently waiting for further information from our vendor concerning the status of the repair effort. We are still providing a rough estimate of 2:00 AM PDT for the below realms to return to service due to this hardware failure. We will provide another update in approximately 90 minutes.

4:35PM PDT
We appear to still be on target for our 2:00 AM PDT estimate for these realms to return. This issue is also affecting the forum login and Account Management services which we are anticipating we will be able to bring back up at the same time as the below realms. We will provide another update in approximately 90 minutes.

The parts necessary to repair the hardware on the realms listed below is currently estimated to arrive on-site at 7:00PM PDT. Our engineers are on-site and ready to begin repairs as soon as the parts arrive. We currently anticipate 5 to 6 hours needed to repair and test the realms once these parts arrive.
