Subject: Tseric, Concering Raid vs Non-Raid
   Hey Tseric.

I know the Raid vs Non-Raid arguement still rages, and I know you are intent on locking the arguements. But, is it possible to have a sticky on the subject and just let people battle it out? This way, it should lower the amount of random threads attacking one side or the other and lower the amount of posts lock because of it. I know its been played out to death, but people still seem to argue over it vehemently.

If you don't agree, you can just lock the thread and disagree.

I'm not going to lock valid arguments and concerns. I am going to lock deliberate flamewars and antagonizations.

We had a sticky. It broke, so we ended up making 2 more. It cooled out for a while, but now it's got steam again. We will simply moderate threads as they deserve them.

Q u o t e:
How is this different from a single post getting lost in pages and pages of individual thread topics? THAT is a question I'm not smart enough to answer.

The difference is that there would be fewer overall threads and a single thread of 1000 replies is easier to read than 1000 threads with a single reply.

I yearn for the day when people might come to terms with the sublime a bit more and realize the world will not end if you don't get your word in.

I go to other game forums and sometimes I weep softly. I see threads that stay on the front page for days, with a few comments, each contributing another clear piece of information. No more, no less.
