Q u o t e: Just got banned today after playing WOW because I am not currently in North America. Apparently Blizzard does not care about those who are stationed abroad in the Armed Forces and working for them. I purchased WOW in the Post Exchange in Seoul Korea on the Yongsan Army Base there, which is considered by law, U.S. Soil. I installed the game and created my account using my U.S. Credit Card from Delaware. My billing address was an APO, AP address which stands for Armed Forces Pacific, Army Postal. After playing the game for 3 months I got an email stating this:
" Access to the World of Warcraft account BTOBEYONDER, and all World of Warcraft accounts associated with the payment information you have provided, has been permanently disabled. It is implicitly stated on the account creation page that: This account creation process is only available to customers in North America, New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore. As a result, the account(s) will no longer be accessible in any way and will not be reopened under any circumstances. Thank you for your time and understanding in this matter.
Regards,
Account Administration
Blizzard Entertainment "
Hmm, Nice of them to give me a chance to explain, a very rude email I might say. I will bring a copy of this email with me to the American Armed Force Exchange Manager and explain to him that he should remove all Blizzard software off of the shelves. And that he needs to contact the Overseas manager and have it removed from all US Military Exchange's that are not in the continental United States, because according to Blizzard it is illegal for US military & Civilians that are stationed overseas to play their software from abroad. Also I will get my money refunded. As for the 2 months of subscription fees, I don't expect that to be refunded, due to the rude & inhuman Account administrators from Blizzard. I have forwarded this email to my US Military friends here & back in the states to warn them. I am also going to send this email to the Stars & Stripes Newspaper for wider circulation.
To those of you who have never been stationed overseas in another country before might not understand, but my XBox 360 & my computer are the only connection I have with my family & friends back in the United States, my sister & my cousin were playing WOW together on a weekly basis. It is obvious that Blizzard has become a victim to greed and power and doesn't really care about the Americans stationed overseas fighting for their freedom to prosper. There are 30,000 Americans here in Korea, who are sacrificing a lot living here. It's a shame that some people are so ungrateful for what these people have given for their country and democracy.

It's difficult enough trying to engage players who don't read whole threads on these boards. Please do not extend this behavior to other boards, as well.
If you are going to point fingers, please try to take all facts into consideration, not just the surface value that makes you react negatively. Thank you.
Q u o t e: Blizzard has reactivated my account. I have not recieved an email yet, but I can now access the server.
Thanks for all your help, yea I jumped the gun a little, I hope you never get banned.
Repo man's got all night, every night!
