Subject: Nooo, not the whelp!
I was opening crates in undead Stratholme with my beloved crimson whelping by my side when I ran into one of the plague cloud crates. No problem, I think, I am on my priest. A little remove disease later and I hear the sound of my whelp dying. I didn't think passive pets could be effected by area effects? I opened another to test it and sure enough the whelp died again. Before I clutter up the bug report forum, can anyone confirm that this is something that isn't intended to happen? =D
The greatest "need" is usually greed.

Non-combat pets should never be affected by any damage, disease, poison, etc. Please do report this in the Bug Report forum as you had planned to.

I don't even want to think about my zergling kicking the bucket, although I would be interested to see its death animation.
