Subject: Talents that break tooltips
There's a myriad of skills that have broken tooltips when they are improved via talents.

Blizzard, are you ever planning on fixing these?

Examples of tooltips that ignore talents:

The tooltip for the Power Word: Fortitude buff is incorrect when the priest giving the buff has Improved PW:F

The tooltip for Expose Armor is incorrect when the rogue has Improved Expose Armor

And then, of course, there are some tooltips that *try* to take talents into account, but they're incorrect, such as the Backstab tooltip when the rogue has taken the Opportunity talent.

So... if the community compiled a list of these talents, would Blizzard CMs consider passing this list along to the developers?

We can only hope.

Well, we already have a list of many tooltips affected by this. The issue is developing the technology that will support updated tooltips. As you have mentioned, this occurs primarily with talent improvements not being reflected in the tooltip. The game currently has skill and ability numbers hardcoded in the tooltip, so when an upgrade comes along, it does not translate into an updated tooltip.

This is something we want to spend time and resources on in the future, but as it is really a cosmetic adjustment, it doesn't have the urgency of other content additions or bug fixes.
My other sig is a rejoinder
