	The directions listed here http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww01954p Do not work. You can uncheck it but it does nothing. Open preferences again and its still checked. WTF? This $!@% should have been disabled by default this is seriously shady BS. H In Soviet Russia, Enrage pop you!

	If you are experiencing issues with the background downloader, it would be best to direct comments and questions to the Tech support team and forums. Everybody loves speaking in absolutes.
