Way to go Blizz... way to enforce the common notion that Blizzard couldnt care less for the customer and only cares for their monthly income.
And yes, this IS an alt, get over it.
Heres the deal...
You spend 5 hours in an AV game... You have a great fight, its a back and forth game until the Alliance finally prevail and have the Horde pushed back... The final assault on the General is underway... Just minutes away from winning...
Then..
BAM! Disconnected...not just me, the entire alliance team. Impact? No marks awarded, No bonus honor for winning, a wasted 5 hours spent for HKs that could have been more beneficial in another BG that i could have played 10 times.
The Blizzard response.. essentially "So sorry, so sad, just try again." WTF?!?! Why would i spend another 5 hours in a BG trying to maintain or earn a higher rank if im going to get shafted out of any reward?
Whats odd is that this doesnt happen on my server... if it did, i would know to "play at my own risk". But it doesnt. So wouldnt compensation be in order? I mean if any other company messes up on something they fix it for the customer... but not Blizzard. The GM claims theres no way to award Marks and that its impossible to to add honor.
So heres your warning people, Blizzard doesnt care about you and wont take action to make you happy. They'll continue to Nerf your class until they piss you off so bad you quit... which is essentially what its coming down to for me. Its not that they cant... its that they WONT.

As Faizaniel touched on, we (our Game Master department) cannot provide reimbursement without evidence. This goes for any report of lost or missing items and may be further complicated by the item itself. If logs were available that showed that the game had concluded and yet items were not received, then it's at least possible for reimbursement to occur (I'm not aware if marks of honor can specifically be reimbursed though). Since the game had not concluded you are asking for reimbursement for items from an event that did not happen. I apologize for the issue experienced that caused the disconnection, but as far as reimbursement, the game was not completed and thus it wouldn't be proper to provide rewards for a task not completed.

Q u o t e: Has anyone EVER had an issue fixed by a GM?
I have seen countless issues resolved by the GM department, usually this type of physical proof is only available to us within the company as rarely will you see posts related to "A GM fixed my problem!"
To reiterate, items cannot be given based on faith or pure request. There must be something tangible to back up the necessity for the reimbursement. Unfortunately in this case no tangible proof can be given as the game did not complete, they cannot assume you would have won and provide the requested items.
Once again I apologize that incident occurred at all, and further I apologize that the instance happened in such a way that reimbursement could not be provided.

Q u o t e: Let me take this out of the Jibberish language
I'm sorry; I was under the impression that this issue was being discussed logically and candidly without resorting to petty insults, my mistake.
