Blizz please provide one :) Or someone point me to it if I've missed it.
I realize there may be room for moral/ethical debate, but this thread is purely based on Blizz's TOS, etc., rules for the game, and whether it is a punishable offense.
What is the official Blizzard stance on sharing your account?
Various examples:
What if there were 2 brothers, 12 and 14 years old, on a single account paid for monthly by their mother. Can they share the account among eachother? What if they each had their own character? What if they all shared one character?
What if there were two guildmates, who know each other only through the game, each on separate accounts. Can they agree to help one char reach high rank first, then help the other char reach high rank, by allowing each other access to the account?
What if the guildmates never shared their password, they just logged in the other player and then went to work or something.
What if there were a service where you could hire a team to play your char 24/7 to gain high rank, advance in raid instances, basically play the game for you (like a post-60 "leveling" service)?
What if the leveling service was no-cost, all volunteer, and did it just out of the good of their own hearts accepting nothing in exchange?
