The dodge tooltip states: "Gives a chance to dodge enemy melee and ranged attacks."
Tseric said in a thread today: "On second thought, doesn't dodge have a chance against all attacks, whereas parry is limited to melee attacks?"

Both of these indicate that dodge should work against ranged attacks. Currently, it does not.
So, either dodge is not working as intended, or the tooltip is wrong and Tseric is misinformed. I think it should be clarified one way or another, particularly since dodge makes up a substantial portion of some classes' defense.[ post edited by Montrib ]
