Subject: Un-Soulbind Old Equipment: Recycle...
The more I think about this idea the more I like it. On a previous post it was mentioned and it jsut stuck with me.

Why not have an ability (scroll, jewel, whatever) that would allow us to un-bind equipment we have grown out of that we could either sell at the AH or give to lower level guildies?

The casuals would love it (better access to stuff), guilds could grow becouse you could 'pass on' items to young-ins, and it would promote recycling stuff many of us lost a lot of sleep getting our hands on when we needed it...

It's something I think everyone has thought of at one point, and it's something we see posted somewhat regularly. The ability to break a soulbinding would have to be so hard to obtain that its use would likely be kept for the rarest of rare items. Then the question does raise, why make them soulbound in the first place? So many different factors rely heavily on items being soulbound that letting it be reversed would require enormous amounts of work to counter-balance. It would be much more likely for specific items to be changed to bind on pickup as design changes occur than to allow a player run system.
