Hi, how often do you have something you want to say and when you say it, it sounds right but when written, it always comes out wrong? Don't you just hate it when you say something and it's totally taken out of context?
You can spend all your life studying language in its written form yet you always have people, or even yourself find what written to be totally different than being what's said.
Every time a new thing is mentioned by you, the CMS.. it's totally taken out of context by a few individuals and eventually the whole ideal behind the post is forgotten..
I was curious ( at least this is the intent behind the post ) if it's possible for the CMs or developers to make voice recordings or even short "Upcoming events movies" for us the players to see. I understand their are time restraints and you guys are constantly busy, but it would ease a lot of people when they can hear and see some of the upcomming events instead of reading about them.
Behind the written word their are no emotions or body language or even tone of voice, it's purely up to you to decide how the written word should be taken, but when you have an image to put to it, it's quite easy to see which angle you're coming from. Is it possible, in the future, we'll see more of the CMs getting hit up for questions and recorded via sound or image allowing us to better grasp what's going on behind the scenes?

We try to put up visuals whenever we can, but due to time constraints and other issues it isn't always possible. :)

Correct. I did not. Don't know where you got that idea. Perhaps it was in a discussion of talent point values and how a higher talent point value does not necessarily equal more value (use or worth)in a talent.

Correct. I did not. I said increasing the cast amount of water effectively decreases the value of water in an economical sense. You get more water for the same cost, therefore water costs less. Granted, it was a reach in terms of a real point, but there is some validity to it.

Correct. I did not. I merely said that fire resist in PvP was not as big of an issue as the mage community was making it out to be. Players who do stack FR in PvP are sacrificing other stats.
