Tseric, why do +spell damage absolutely needs to come with "AND +Healing" on ALL items this game offers? This is getting ridiculous.
We NEED +Spell Damage ONLY items. Not only +Spell Damage one school but +Damage all schools WITHOUT "AND +Healing". There is already plenty of "+Healing only" items so make our "+Spell damage only" items as well. It's EASY to do so do it plz.
WARNING: I'm not asking to remove "+dmg and +healing" items. I want them to STAY and I want new items like that too but I want "+dmg all schools" to exist as well.
This SIMPLE FIX would BOOST the caster itemization INCREDIBLY because we are wasting "points" into the "AND +Healing" part thus reducing the allocations of point allowed for the level of an item. Instead of having for example +40 "spell damage and healing all school" casters could have +55 "spell damage all schools" on a pair of pants.

Mages and warlocks are getting the shaft big time because we have to compete with all the classes for our generic items. We have hunters, paladins, shadow priests, priests, druids, etc. WINNING our dmg caster gear because of that flawed "+dmg AND +healing" so please make "+spell damage all school" dream a reality and I warranty you dmg casters will stop most of their whining.

Removing "...and healing" from the bonus will not affect the budget at all. For purpose of mechanics, consider the stat to be "+ to all spells and effects". Individual school +dmg is weighted differently due to it's limitation and that it is usually associated as a random stat.
Rosetta is pretty much spot on here.
