Subject: Meanings to Night Elf sayings
Does anyone have any idea what things like "Ishnu Alla" and "Ishnu Daldean" mean? I've been wondering this a lot recently and would like to hear some feedback from everyone (maybe even the Blizzard people) what these things mean.

While actual translations are escaping me at the moment, I do think it's interesting to note that Night Elves are not the only race to make use of the "Ishn-" beginning in their language. Just as the Night Elves say "Ishnu-alah," and "Ishnu-dal-dieb,", the Tauren say "Ishne'alo porah."

Curious, really.. ;)

THANK YOU for explaining that Cay. The entire WoW community was on pins and needles waiting for that answer. Thank God you were here or we'd never know.

You're most heartily welcome! I know other loremongers like myself are interested in this sort of thing and I enjoy participating in such discussions as community building. :)

Wait... you were being sarcastic.

Oh.

Oh.

This is well within my job description. Individuals interested in the lore are a part of this community too. If you don't like it, I'm sure there are a number of other threads you can read that would hold your interest. Do not begrudge others theirs.

>_> Some guy said first then I refreshed and it was gone. Silly orkz.

Probably something to do with Elune. I'm betting one is "Elune watch over you."

Also..
"Shan're dor'me tolah."

or whatever it is.

Couldn't be Elune -- the Taurahe name for her is Mu'sha. ;)
