From what I understand so far, the LFG channels have been linked between the 3 cities into one "LookingForGroup - City" Channel.
Which I think is fantastic. However, much to my dismay, I come to find that I am completely unable to join that chat when OUTSIDE of the city.
Is this "working as intended"? If so, why? Why reduce in effectiveness what is already a rather unwhelming system for players to form groups?
Now if I want to find a group or start one, I *have* to sit in a city. I can't be out there doing my own thing keeping an eye on LFG chat.
Or am I just jumping to conclusions and there's a way to join the LFG channel from anywhere? Because when I try, it just puts me in the LFG channel of whatever region I'm in.
Please someone respond.

I've responded to this elsewhere, but to repeat... it was never intended functionality that you could join default channels outside of their region. With the change in channels, this has been fixed.
We are in the process of working on a more robust LFG system. This is a placeholder method.
My heart is locked away in Glastonbury Tor.
