During an MC run tonight, while fighting Baron Geddon, I went offline during the middle of the fight.
Let it be known: I started the fight ONLINE, and came back online BEFORE Barron died. The only part of the fight i missed was roughly 2 minutes in the middle.
When the Baron was killed, the body was looted and Cenarion Spaulders dropped. I was not, however, in the Master Loot window so the drops went to rot.
After THREE hours, we finally got a GM responce and he told us that not only could I not have the loot, but they wouldn't even give it to our raid leader to DE because we chose to let it rot.
If you check the logs you can clearly see that I was online during most of the fight, and it's only a bug.
I KNOW that they can give me those shoulders, and i KNOW it's been done before. This GM was simply being stubborn and refused to help.
Please blues, help me out how you can. And also, please forum, help me keep this thread bumped until I get justice.

I would make notation of as many specifics of the situation you can, including but not limited to: time/date, what instance/boss, what dropped, etc.
You have an intial ticket, which helps document events somewhat. Letting the corpse despawn without looting is a good idea, as once possession (soulbinding) of an item is made, things get a lot stickier.
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees on getting your loot, but a patient appeal of your case may help, as you seem to have followed good practice for the situation you encountered.
