Please don't lie to us Caydiem... every piece of gear we get is +healing only...
Q u o t e: Druids can heal.
Druids can DPS.
Druids can tank.
The Druid's MAIN job is to fit their given situation by doing what is most needed at that given time.
All else is preference.
there only 6 pieces of spell damage gear for druids in the game, analysis below:
==== From another post ====
http://www.thottbot.com/?f=a&name=&skill=Leather&minl=&maxl=&stat1=&c1=gt&v1=&stat2=&c2=gt&v2=&stat3=&c3=gt&v3=&stat4=&c4=gt&v4=&stat5=&c5=gt&v5=&e=995
There it is. Every single piece of leather gear in the game for Balance Druids. Lets analyze this list:
-1) Boots of Fright - drops off outdoor boss, therefore, only elite guilds will ever see this
-2) Cenarion Belt - not bad, except that it is only +9, so its not quite useful for a Balance Druid
-3) Cenarion Belt - not bad, except that it is only +6, so its not quite useful for a Balance Druid
+4) Cenarion Helm - +12 spell damage, this is actually quite good, until you examine what casters get on their cloth BLUEs: +40 spell damage on the Hexxer's Cover, but I will mark it as "+" just for grins
-5) PVP Epic Helm - some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
-6) PVP Epic Shoulders - some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
-7) Flayed Doomguard Belt - drops off outdoor boss, therefore, only elite guilds will ever see this
-8) PVP Epic Boots - some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
-9) Leggins of Arcana - not bad, but requires super rare UBRS drop, so no one will ever see this
10) See 8
11) See 6
-12) PVP Epic Chestpiece - some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
13) See 5
-14) PVP Blue Boots - not enough intellect to be useful (5, yes 5); also some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
+15) Bloodfire Talons - this is quite good, but the lack of stats due to low level is detrimental
-16) PVP Blue Helm - this is actually quite good, but some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
-17) PVP Blue Shoulders - not enough intellect to be useful (6, yes that is a 6); some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
+18) Chestplate of Tranquility - the best Balance Druid gear in the game (I have done DMWest over 30 times now FTL =[ )
+19) Cyclone Spaulders - very very good leather spell damage gear
-20) PVP Blue Chestpiece - some people don't like to PVP, so this is not an option
21) See 14
22) See 20
23) See 17
24) See 16
+25) Sandstorm Boots - best Balance Druid boots in the game
+26) Waterspout Boots - these are alright, but lack of stats is detrimental
Using this information, there are only 6 pieces of Balance Druid gear in the game (the other ones were disqualified for the aforementioned reasons).

Explain to us please, Blizzard, why do you force your customers to join an elite guild or PVP for 2 months or wear cloth to be able to play a Balance Druid effectively?

Incorrect, Listerine. We all level legitimately. As such, my two level 60 characters -- Druid and Rogue -- were levelled with naught but my blood, sweat, and tears. Kindly don't perpetuate such misconceptions.
Yes, I have been to MC quite often. Itemization is a different issue from class role, and is an issue. Please don't confuse the two.

Q u o t e: You completely avoided the problem.. when will Balance Druid itemization be fixed?
And you took a quote completely out of context.
You're asking for an ETA when that's something I practically never give.
I said it was an issue.
My stating that it is an issue implies that it's a known issue by Blizzard.
Clearly, then, it is being looked into.
I don't have an ETA as a matter of course.

Q u o t e: Probably did a .go. I doubt one CM has ever put in a ticket to a GM who did not know they were a CM. It is painfully obvious with the answer they give on the forums. I am still having a hard time believing some of them leveled to 60 and go to MC, BWL, and Onyxia without GM commands.
Listerine...
My account is not flagged in a way that makes me different from players. At all. That means no special commands whatsoever. My account is a normal account.
While I appreciate that you apparently enjoy sharing your supposed information on the commands we use either on internal realms or when the GMs are working (not one of which has been correct yet, by the way), the perception that we use these commands to get ahead on live realms (and I'm talking all GMs, CMs, developers, etc) is entirely false, period. We all level just as normal players do. We're not bumped to the head of the line when we have GM tickets (and yes, we do put them in like normal players).
All else is baseless conspiracy theory. Is that understood?
Wika, yes, I am proud that I understand the entire player experience rather than just the endgame. Trust me, if we did make level 60s of all classes, the cry instead would be, "You don't play a REAL [class]; you didn't tough out levelling up, upgrading your gear, and dealing with [issue]. You're not qualified to represent me." We can't win on that score, honestly. I can make them on internal realms and I do have a level 60 of every class there, but that's different.
Lastly... yes, I am aware that itemization can be closely intertwined with class role, but while it can be linked, it is in fact a separate issue.

She's a representative of Blizzard. I pay her salary. I have every right to tell her how to conduct herself. Ultimately, I'm her boss...as are the rest of the players.
Funny how that works, eh?

Q u o t e: Okay....
Wrong you are. The commands I give are from an early stage of WoW used many times over in diffrent builds. Even some builds that are not created by Blizzard. While they may change over the years, I remain correct in stating what those commands represent or once represented.
False. I know for a fact GMs do not level to 60 on their work account. Also, developers do not do work on live realms. So they have no need for charters are on live realms. Nice choice of words "Live Realms." What ever they do in their spare time is up to them and has nothing to do with what I am talking about.
Then you love lying on these forums to make Blizzard look good.
Gee, I love when glorified moderators get mad because I don't treat them like gods because of their special blue text.
I am referring to play characters, Listerine -- characters on live realms that join groups and such.
I am sorry if you were under the impression that I was referring to GM work characters or realms other than live realms, both of which are completely off base in this conversation.
And no, not one of your mentioned commands has been correct. I would appreciate it greatly if you cease giving out such false information, as the harm it can do is great. This is your last warning; Eyonix has given you one just previously.

I am sorry if you were under the impression that I was referring to GM play characters.
Sorry, I didn't know you were telling me what to talk about.
There are more than two people in said conversation. Both in the OP and throughout there have been references to Blizzard employees' characters -- the ones they play. You were the only one remotely discussing GM characters during work. :P
That said, this tangent is done. If you continue to spread the misinformation you have today, action will be taken.
