As anyone can see from the plethora of MVP slander threads.. this debate has finally come to a head.
I believe that Blizz's intentions of appointing MVP's to help in the community building excersize was done in all honesty. I still believe that MVP posters can help out however, it is and has been made abundantly clear to me today alone that this forum needs REAL TANGEABLE MODERATION.
Threads that do not fit within the Forum guidlines MUST start being removed immediately.
People who continually break forum rules need to be banned permanently.
Off topic threads need to be locked, and their posters warned or banned.
All you've done with MVP's is given 1/4 of what we really need. Now how about delivering on the rest?
If the CM's you've hired to be our Mods / community reps can't handle this job, I suggest that you hire people who are dedicated ONLY to enforcing the rules of these forums and nothnig else. If a CM says something to the effect that 'there are so many posts on this forum we can't keep up with all of them' then you need to hire more competent people or more people or both.
*EDIT* I have been informed since the original posting of this thread, by Cay, that there are two CM's who are dedicated to policy enforcment within the forums, it is clear that we need more, or they need to start banning people for repeated infractions.
Blizz, I quit this game 4mo ago because of lax, and just plain non-exsistant moderation of these forums. And the fact that if I had an honest suggestion it was marginalised by the continual crap that's allowed to be posted here.
I felt the MVP program was a step in the right direction but have seen today that the lack of true moderation undermines the MVP program.
Or, Cart before the Horse.
Can we PLEASE fix it.

I'm so sick and tired of watching this community tear itself apart and feeling like the people in charge of it don't give a crap because it's their opinion that it's unmanageable.
Maybe- This forum needs to be SOMEONES ONLY priority untill this is resolved. I'm sure you can spare ONE person.. Just ONE?!!?!?
