So I'm stockpiling Runecloth for my warrior to turn in as soon as the quest becomes available at level 50, but since I can't turn it in until then, there's gonna be a lot of cloth sitting in alts' banks for a while. When I actually do hit 50, how many can I toss to my warrior at a time through the mailbox? Is there a maximum carrying capacity, or can I send all 600+ stacks in one go and just run back and forth between the mailbox and tailor shop without having to log out to an alt to mail another batch?

I am not sure of the exact limit, but if your mailbox contains more messages than it can display, the ones that cannot be displayed will be stored in the over flow slots. Once you start clearing space, the messages in the over flow slots will start appearing in your mail box.
