Blizz guys, come on, you 4.5mill worldwide players and you NERF the trial versions? I just started a new char with my cousin (14 day free "trial") and his character is locked out of tons of good features, why have you disabled BASIC aspects of the game?
Very upset.

Limitations we're placed on trial accounts due to rampant abuse which was occurring from people stockpiling trial accounts and using them for less than honorable reasons (read:gold farmers and advertisers)
I'm sorry you are inconvenienced by these limitations, but we did our best to limit abuse, yet not interfere with gameplay.
It's so hard to win, when there's so much to lose.

My brother just got a cable modem and I wanted to let him use my disks to try out the trial version. Just curious what he won't be able to do.
There is a money cap of 20g. Several public channels are innaccessible (General, Trade, etc.). I don't believe trails can join guilds (might be off on this one). Level cap of 20, also.
It's so hard to win, when there's so much to lose.
