While we are for security reasons unable to give specifics on the actions we are taking against players who attempt to undermine the economy of the World of Warcraft realms, as well as those who attempt to use exploits or cheats to gain an unfair advantage over other players, we would like to make the following clear:
We take such issues extremely seriously, and we have dedicated teams working to combat these issues actively and aggressively. We will continue to do everything possible to prevent this type of activity by taking the strongest action against those in violation of our Terms of Use. Please rest assured that we will leave no stone unturned in our quest to remove these undesirable elements from the game, and we encourage and appreciate your vigilance in regard to any activity that you believe represents such an incident.
Should you experience or witness behavior in the game that you feel to be a violation of the World of Warcraft Terms of Use, we urge you to submit an in-game ticket to our Game Master team providing the character name(s) of the player(s) involved and the exact time and details of the event. This will assist us greatly in our investigations into the matter. It is furthermore very important to us to make our community aware that such investigations can be lengthy and often difficult, and it is vital to us that we take action which is justified and correct, so if you do not see an immediate result based on these reports, please bear in mind that such things can take time and that we cannot share these results with you. Once again we thank you for your support in helping us keep World of Warcraft fun and safe for all legitimate players.
