Subject: New Epic recipes
I am a semi casual gamer, well a true hardcore gamer trying not to give up his social life. I think the devs need to add ALOT more end game epic recipes that arent hard to get but the recipe its self will take time to make. Lets say 2-7 days of collecting materials to get. Make these items better then ZG but worse then MC. And of course make them sets , This will make it so people arent forced to do 20-40 man raids to get the good stuff. And they dont have to put 4-6 hours time periods in at a time.

Edit : also i think you should add the loot type thing for pvp to the real world not just BG and maybe make some of the items you need for these "Epics" to come from pvp only.

Subject: Re: New Epic recipes
While we will continue to introduce new patterns and recipes to the game which produce epic quality items, it should be noted that the process to do so will be a slow one. There is much more to consider when adding high-end or epic-quality items to the game which players can craft vs. programming a specific monster in a specific dungeon or area of the world to drop an item with a specific chance. The latter is completely within our control, while the crafting method requires that we take very special consideration to the fact that if we make the required materials to create the item too aggressive, more casual gamers will have a very difficult time creating the item, however, making the required materials too lenient could quite easily allow for the mass production of epic-quality items which can diminish the value of other existing items and have an adverse affect on the economy as a whole.

In short, you will continue to see new patterns, schematics and recipes introduced each patch with a varying degree of quality. We just want to be careful in this particular aspect of design.
