It's obvious there are some server problems and many people are very upset with it. As a guild leader, I am required to schedule MC/BWL around player availability. Recently, though, I have had to schedule my raids around server stability and latency issues. Nearly ever raid we have 10 second lag on all spells. We must wait 15 to 60 minutes sitting at bosses in order to wait until the game is once again playable (playable for us would be ~3 seconds or less lag. Except on Ragnaros which would require even less)
I personally believe you will lose customer satisfaction, and even some people quitting the game all together because of the problems with latency. On my particular server, many guilds have had to cancel the last 3 raids because its virtually unplayable.
I'm trying to present this in as civil a manner as I can, as opposed to many others who just scream and curse about the problems and threaten to quit the game. This is a real issue. It may not be all of the servers, but many are facing problems that are out of our hands.
Could we, as valued customers, get some insight into the reasons for why latency is a problem right now? Regardless of what it is, just having a concrete reason for the problem, or a possible fix coming soon would relieve many people, and help us weather the latency storm.

At this time we are unable to discuss the cause of the latency that is affecting the realms. I know that our networking team is aware and working to solve the issues, and they are doing everything they can. As we get more information, we will be sure to keep you informed.
