I've been playing the last hour and I have gotten 4 messages from variously named folks to go to http://www.itembay.ca to buy cheap gold and items for in game.
I reported 2 and got the smae automated message each time, saying it's being looked into.
While I still had an open ticket I got whispered 3 more times for the same thing. It's BS and annoying.
I'm sick and tired of it, and if I'm going to get SPAM in game I'd go to Ironforge...
Something ought to be done!

You can report these players to the GM department. They regularly deal with this issue. So, yes, we actually care and do something about it on a daily basis.
