Subject: A couple of questions to the Loremasters
I am what you would call as a warcraft newbie. Never played any of the previous warcraft games and such... but I am in the process of reading the books that relate to WoW and I have taken to WoW with quite a passion. And so I have some questions, formed from my experience in Azeroth.

1) What is the reason behind the existence of the oozes that we see through out the world of Azeroth? What are those slimy fiends?

2) I visited the cenarion hold in Silithus recently and the first thing that hit me as strange is the absence of Taurens in the cenrion infantry. I see only nightelves as guards and mounted patrols. Are the Taurens having problems with the circle?

3) Why is it that the dragons and dragonkin are hostile to us, when lore has it that we have worked together in the past? I am not aware if something happened that created the rift. Any idea why we are all KoS to the dragons?(apart from the Black flight, I mean. That one's obvious)

More to come. I would appreciate any answers.

   1) This is a subject of some curiosity for all races right now, and no one has discerned quite what Oozes and Slimes are, but there are theories that the substance is almost a secretion of the world itself, the raw stuff of life. Naturally, once it's in the world it can become corrupted by all manner of outside forces, such as the fel essence in Felwood.

2) The Tauren are having no problems with the Cenarion Circle to my knowledge. The Night Elves, however, have a vested interest in Silithus; it's only natural that more of them would be found in Cenarion Hold fighting against the creatures. You'll find out more as you progress in the story there.

3) It really all depends on the flight. They all have their own agendas.

Blue dragonkin tend to be found around ruins. They do not want you snooping and never have -- their duty is to guard the magic of the world and keep it out of irresponsible hands. If you trespass, you pay the price.

Red dragonkin were badly abused during the Second War, and it's only natural that they mistrust those who go up to Grim Batol. That was a place of great tragedy. Understand, however, that the Red flight still means well to the populace -- look at Vaelastrasz.

You don't see much of the Bronze flight. If you do, it's by the Caverns of Time, where they're guarding their secrets. They've been seen in Silithus, however, so they may be on the path to a more active role. Besides, odds are you've worked for a Bronze dragon if you've quested around Andorhol. ;)

Now, the Green dragonkin have been turned more inwards lately than they're used to. You find them hostile around the Great Trees, and guarding the Temple of Atal'Hakkar, where Eranikus' shade lies in madness. There is something afoot in the Dream, something that is corrupting what was a once peaceful flight. Time will tell what comes of this...

Q u o t e:
Its the Goddess of Lore herself!

*bows down*

Around Andorhol? In the western plaguelands? I have done almost all the quests around that place (with an alt, of course)... but a bronze dragon, there? I haven't seen any dragons there... or their human form... *scratches his head*

And I suppose you are not telling me who it is...

/cry

Tch. Human form?

There are many Black and Red dragons in Human form, yes, but Green dragons tend to prefer Elven form, for example...

...now, considering the Bronze flight's desire to watch over the progress of the races and how they develop, what race do you believe they'd pick more often than not for going incognito? ;)

Hmm and what corrupted "pristine" oozes in Un'Goro?

I didn't say they were corrupt. I said things in the outside world can corrupt the ooze, which they have in practically all places. Un'Goro is the marked exception. ;)
