There is a huge advantage/disadvantage for various races. trolls being the worst. taurens/undead being one of the best. everyone else in between.
Seems to me that race balance is on the backburner and on the low priority list. Doesn't seem like it will change anytime soon in either 1.7 nor 1.8 patch. Please give players a one-time option to change race until the race balancing does come into effect. Similar to the player transfer, I wouldn't mind paying a small fee if this will happen soon. Please consider this option to players until races are eventually balanced.

There will not be an option to change your character's race. The only way to do that is to delete the character and create a new one.
