Subject: Cay: I'm wondering if you've considered...
Here is your quote from another post:

Q u o t e:
All other brackets were fine, eh?

I submit for your examination Exhibit A: 31-40. There is one major problem with this bracket: level 40 characters can have mounts. If you were under 40 in this bracket, you found yourself at quite a disadvantage while players at cap and with the funds to afford a mount shot right by you.

All right, you might think, so there are only two brackets that really have issues. 21-30 and 41-50 were fine. And you're right; for the most part they were pretty fair and enjoyable. I myself have a level 50 character that I have kept at that level specifically because I enjoyed playing Warsong Gulch in that bracket.

However, there's balance to consider, and the X0-X9 was the best way to keep things fair while avoiding the major advantages at cap.

Personally, I'm in the same boat you were -- I have a character that I previously used in Warsong in a particular bracket I enjoyed, and now I need to level him again and try out a new bracket. It will take work. But y'know, I don't think it's going to be any less fun when I get back in there. Different, certainly; more challenging at first, definitely; but the gameplay that I enjoy will still be there without any major unbalancing traits as there were previously.

I ask that you give the new brackets a chance. :)

Now has anyone considered that shaman get ghost wolf form at level 20 and will be leaving every other class in the dust once they have the flag? Sure they can be slowed and a priest (if one happens to be there) can dispell their ghost wolf form, but they have to catch them first. Of course a second later and the shaman is back running off again. Oh, and don't forget the totem he placed before shifting to slow everyone down even more.

One more observation. I do hope the number of WSG instances open for level 60s keeps players happy. The fact is that even w/ the lower level players in the 51-60 WSG, the instance wouldn't even be open without them. So all the level 60s complaining about having low level teammates will now be complaining about not enough instances opening.

Just shedding some light on a few problems.

Yes, it's one of the issues the developers did take into account. There are ways to stop a shaman even at that level, however.
