Just curious, is the way the BG queue works being looked at actively, or are the Devs trying to solve the issue through "inventives" only?
Additionally, is the "cross realm BG" system the only one being looked at or are there other changes as well?
The suggestion for allowing "Multi-queuing" has been, and will continue to be, brought up until some sort response is giving that this option is on the table with the Devs as well...
Multi-queuing: The ability for players to queue into each battleground seperately, allowing them to wait for their turn independantly of each other. This will alleviate the player-base cannibalization that new BG additions will create as players are forced to choose one BG over another, rather than participate in a more frequently available BGs while also waiting in line for the larger but less frequent BGs like AV

We are looking at ways to speed up the queue process for battlegrounds. We are not able to give specifics at this time, but as more information becomes available we will let you know.
