Subject: Blue: Is alchemy ever getting buffed?
Why are all the other professions so much more interesting? I have a blacksmith and a leatherworker and those both have tons of quests related to them, along with different branches of crafting to go down. Alchemy is just normal alchemy forever and there is only ONE alchemy quest in the game. You get it at like lvl 5 in Teldrassil.

Why cant there be more things for alchemists to do? Maybe add in different trees - Volatile Alchemy (offensive) and Enhancing Alchemy (defensive). More quests and rarer things to make: for instance, flasks that dont ever run out, except they take up a trinket slot with a cooldown of like 15 or 30 minutes.

Please? :/

There are new Alchemy recipes coming next patch, and we'll continue to introduce more as the game evolves. I know in the past when I've stated that Alchemy is in particularly good shape compared to other professions, it's interpreted to mean - "we don't care about Alchemy", or "too bad, so sad, nothing else coming". This isn't true. The simple fact is, most recently other professions have had greater need for attention.

Alchemists will certainly benefit the rewards of patience. In the meantime, enjoy what you can do with the profession.
