While it's possible that some of the Druid's alternate forms may receive a "face lift" at some point in the future, they are in-fact, not place-holder art. At this time, we have no current plans to make changes in this area, although we've noted the requests for visual change, specifically pertaining to the Druid's travel form.

Q u o t e:
WTF cay said that cheetah form was a place holder. /lose all trust in either eyonix or cay

(Edit) I'd like to see the quote where I said they were placeholders. To my knowledge, I never did.

Tawka, it could well be one of those things that has ballooned over the months, but never once did I say that those models were placeholders and would be changed. A possibility from where this may have originated...

Say I responded to a thread asking about when the placeholder art on Druid models will be changed, saying that I will talk to the art team about Dire Bear and Travel form (without debunking the "placeholder" nomenclature). This leads to the assumption that these are, in fact, placeholders, when I have said nothing of the kind. Over time, it's assumed that I stated they were placeholders, and it becomes a "fact" amongst the Druid community.

It happens all the time, really. :P

Until I see the NE Druid Bear Form equiped with long, stiff retardo-ears, I'd rather not have em :P

Psst, they have long, stiff purple ears in Bear form. :P

Hey, you deleted my post.

Was what I mentioned considered an exploit? I had no idea, and I apologise if so.

Please don't talk about that here. :P

Twig, I still deleted your post. Regardless of what the GM told you, such actions are not condoned and thus are not something we allow on the forums.

This is so unbeleivably frustrating, Cay. I posted on the "druid forums" about the "placeholder" art in hopes that you would diminish all the rumours and set the truth straight (It remained on first page for about three or four days). I received no repsonse from you. Yet, you answer this thread in "general" just to defend yourself against an accusation. Plus, Eyonix was the first to post. Arent you the one that plays a druid? Shouldn't you know this "basic" information? Thanks for showing your colors.

It could also be that I don't work on Sunday and just happened to be checking the boards. I saw the accusation and sought to clarify it. That's all.

I do play a Druid, he is level 60, but I am not the Druid class representative and at times I have higher priority things to attend to, as was the case during the time of your thread.
