Subject: WoW in XP64
I'm running WoW in XP 64 (I really like it for those who are intrested), and I've noticed something rather curious while forcing the game to shut down due to the "Exit Game" bug most Athalon 64 owners seem to experience.

WoW.exe appears to be a 64-bit process.

First, I would like other XP 64 users to verify this. It could be something that's just buggy on my machine. The way to check, for those who don't know, is in the processes list in the task manager (right click on the task bar and choose task manager) all 32-bit apps have a *32 after the process name while all 64-bit apps do not have one.

Secondly, I'd like to see if I could get a blue to comment about this. Recompiling the game for 64-bit users would seem to be a great PR deal (much better memory usage for 64-bit apps), and it seems odd to me to have such a huge change in the game go without so much as a comment from Blizzard. The fact that there are currently very few companies even making 64-bit versions of their software would make the change an even greater one.

While I'm not the most computer savy person, I do know that while Windows 64 is backwards compatible with 32 bit architecture, the same cannot be said in the reverse.

Thus, if WoW was 64 bit, everyone else would not be able to play.
