The Darkmoon Faire is a world event. There is a great deal of content available no matter what day it is; the Faire is meant to spice up the world a little, a shifting, mysterious carnival that you can visit once in a while. If this upsets you, I apologize, but there are no plans to change it so it's constantly up.
